A historical survey of characteristic features of post-WW 2 literary periods, streams and movements
Analysis and interpretation of selected novels by applying varoius critical approaches. (War novel, Jewish novel, Southern novel, the Beat generation and after, Novel of manners, Ethnic novel turned mainstream)
Stressing the specifics of the novels' reception from the perspective of their intercultural impact.
