Practical training in psychology is a form of acquisition of practical skills in the process of psychological fields of work. The content of the training depends upon the working environment, which the student chooses. The curriculum for the program of practical training students with relevant content is prepared by supervisor of institution where the practice is carried out (external mentor), when needed in cooperation with the field mentor from the Department of Psychology. The curriculum should be represented by all elements of psychological work, through the functions and tasks that the student can perform in a particular working environment.
Student learns the EuroPsy competence model, occupational safety, their responsibilities, duties, and rights during practical training. Student gets acquainted with the process of the training: planning, implementation and evaluation of the practical training. Student reflects their academic and practical skills, and prepare the documentation regarding the practical training.

Necessary literature for improving knowledge is chosen by student alone or advised by the external mentor or field mentor from the Department of Psychology.
