Mojca Belak, MPhil
She teaches practical classes in phonetics and phonology, general English and British society and culture at the Department of English.
After graduating from English language and literature and comparative literature she moved to London, where she worked for the BBC World Service. When she returned to Slovenia, she started teaching at the Faculty of Arts in Ljubljana, where she obtained advanced postgraduate degree in English language and methodology.
She has trained teachers of English at Pilgrims in Canterbury for more than a decade. She specialises in creativity in language teaching. She has presented and run seminars and workshops in Slovenia, Great Britain, Austria, France, Croatia, Lithuania, Portugal, Romania and Serbia.
She has been a member of IATEFL, International Association of Teachers of English as a Foreign Language, all her professional life. The association has around 4,000 members worldwide. Since 2017 she has been a member of IATEFL Board of Trustees and is Chair of IATEFL Membership Committee.
