- The course consists of two parts: the history and theory of psychology of music. In the first part, the students learn about the key historical efforts in psychology of music and are provided with an overview of the work in the fundamental theoretical topics in the psychology of music.
- Beside the overview of individual researchers from various fields of psychology of music, a special emphasis remains on the interdisciplinary content links with sociology, psychology, epistemology, cognitive sciences and cultural science.
