Italian Grammar 2:
Students gain familiarity with the verb phrase in more detail. The course focuses on the basic concepts connected with the verb phrase, such as mood, tense and aspect as well as on reported speech and conditionals.
Special emphasis is given to the complex interaction among different verb forms in a text and to the relationship between the structure, meaning and function. Students are encouraged to compare grammatical categories of Italian and Slovene and to consider the different ways of expressing selected elements of Italian grammar in Slovene.
