Italian Grammar 4:
Students gain familiarity with those parts of speech which have not yet been discussed in Italian Grammar 1, 2 and 3 (adverbs and prepositions) as well as with the structure of the prepositional phrase. Furthermore, the course focuses on the analysis of syntactic functions.
Special emphasis is put on the relationship among structure, meaning and function. Students are encouraged to compare grammatical categories of Italian and Slovene and to consider the different ways of expressing selected elements of Italian grammar in Slovene.
