The selected chapters change depending on the current research of the lecturer, the interest of the students, and according to ongoing discussions within the discipline. The emphasis is on the state-of-the-art within the discipline. In addition, the students are acquainted with the principal research approaches. Working in the seminar, they are able to independently formulate a research question, gather relevant sources and literature, analyse them, and present their findings in written form and/or in a presentation.
