The paradigm Slovenian history – the history of Slovenes. Images of the Slovenian Middle Ages and historical reality. The influence of geographical and spatial factors on a concrete historical event. Slovenian territory in the early Middle Ages: new ethnical, social, political and cultural manifestations after the end of Antiquity; the Carolingian period and a (re)integration into the Western European civilisational sphere; the specifics of the development on our territory; review by regions. High and late Middle Ages: the feudalisation of society in all its segments; the formation of provinces; the dynastic-political development and the holders of power and authority; nobility, peasants, the bourgeoisie; the Church; culture.
