Modern Greek II

The course Modern Greek II continues the course Modern Greek I (the tutorial). It is organized as a practical class (in Modern Greek); the topics studied include:
- Modern Greek vocabulary concerning topics which fall outside the scope of the most common everyday communication
- exercises in speaking competences: conversation and short instances of speaking, using the vocabulary studied
- reading and analysis of authentic literary and non-literary texts, written in standard Modern Greek
- exercises in listening comprehension: understanding the general sense of a text.
